From a young age, I was always fascinated by the how’s and why’s; “How do the shops never run out of food or clothes?” School and education fostered this interest and working for Kuehne + Nagel has provided me with the answers!

As a Regional CRM Manager I am responsible for the upkeep and correct usage of Kuehne + Nagel’s CRM systems. These are used by customer facing sales staff to record developments in the relationship they have with their clients. The CRM system has become the primary tool for monitoring sales performance and my role is to ensure that management have complete visibility of the system, thereby enabling them to make strategic decisions.

My role has 6 indirect reports who assist me with the day-to-day running of the CRM system.  I work with colleagues to plan and implement strategies that will ensure the best possible use of the system for the sales team.

I have been performing this role for 18 months.  Prior to this, I worked for Kuehne + Nagel as a Graduate Trainee for two years. During this time I worked in a range of logistics fields, including: airfreight, sea freight and Contract Logistics.  In both of my roles I have had the opportunity to travel to various locations including: Vienna, Budapest, Oslo, Copenhagan, Helsinki and Zurich.

Logistics really does make the world go round. Without it global business could not happen.  By working for a company like Kuehne + Nagel the decisions that you make can have a global impact.
